Our Pigs
Currently we raise Mangalitsa Berkshire cross pigs, aka the Berkelitsa. Both Berkshire and the Mangalitsa pigs are world renown for their flavor and quality. Our breeding program takes the best of both pigs and combines them for one of a kind, gourmet quality, healthy pork.
Rocky Ridge Pigs are slow growing, which helps to build their phenomenal flavor. It takes 18-24 months for them to reach harvest weight of 300-350lbs. The flavor of our pork is unlike any pork you have ever tasted. It is decadently rich, and complex, almost indescribable. It is well marbled thanks to the Mangalista genetics which make our pork succulent and juicy. The fat is incredible and melts in your mouth and is considered a delicacy and is often cured into Lardo. We offer whole pigs or pork by the cut. |

Pork Deposits and Payment Plans
Below you will find the purchasing options we offer on our pigs. You can save money buy buying in bulk and paying in full at the time of your order. To reserve your pig we require a deposit of 50% down. You can use pay pal or E-mail us to Order
Prices are based on an average hanging weight of 200lbs, If your pig weighs less you will be refunded and if your pig weighs more you will be responsible for difference which is due before delivery of your pork. Prices include USDA processing. It takes 3-4 weeks after Harvest to receive your pork due to the time it takes for curing ham and bacon.
