Certified Mangalitsa Pork

We raise a small number of Full Blood Mangalitsa pigs for meat every year. Raising these pigs takes over 2 years to reach the optimal size and quality. 

Our Mangalista pigs are raised on primarily a forage-based diet with a small amount of Barley, non-gmo corn, sunflower seeds and flax seed at finishing. ​

The Mangalitsa pig is an old-world lard breed pig originating from the Austro-Hungarian empire.

They are Prized for the deep red meat and copious amounts of Melt in your mouth beautiful white lard.  The composition of a mangalistsa pig is 40% lean meat and 60% fat.

The lard Mangalitsa pigs is unique, melting a room temperature and is high in Monounsaturated fat, meaning it is more easily digestible and healthier. 

What do you use all that Lard for? 

In our household we use the Lard as a replacement for toxic vegetable oils.  We use it in pastry making, baking, frostings, frying and for some of the most amazing confit you can find. It is an affordable replacement for grass fed butter also.

Each pig comes with a certificate of authenticity, so you know for a fact you are receiving 100% Mangalitsa pork.
We harvest our pigs at over 300lbs and that will give you about 200 lbs of Mangalitsa pork and lard!
All Processing is included in the price. You get to choose exactly how your pork is cut.
