Eighth Fullblood Wagyu Beef — Standard Cut
$10/lb Hanging Weight
Processing Included
Our mixed eighth Wagyu share is the easiest way to bring home a balanced selection of Rocky Ridge Farm Fullblood Wagyu without needing the freezer space or investment of a larger share.
Each eighth is divided from across the whole animal, so you receive a proportional mix of premium steaks, ground beef, roasts, and versatile everyday cuts—not simply one section of the steer.
For a steer hanging at approximately 900 lbs, an eighth represents about 112.5 lbs of hanging weight, or approximately $1,125.
Professional harvest, cutting, wrapping, and vacuum sealing are already included.
What You’ll Receive
A typical mixed eighth includes a balanced selection of:
Boneless ribeye and/or New York strip steaks
Tenderloin/filet and sirloin cuts where allocated
Other premium or specialty steaks
Ground Wagyu
2–3 lb roasts
Stew meat
Fajita meat
Brisket, short ribs, or other slow-cooking cuts where allocated
Our premium steaks are cut approximately 1 inch thick.
Because an eighth represents a smaller portion of one animal, you may not receive every individual cut listed above. Each share is divided as evenly as possible to provide a fair and balanced selection from the whole beef.
Standard Cut — No Cut Sheet Required
Eighth shares are processed using our Rocky Ridge Farm standard cut.
Customers do not need to complete a cut sheet or make individual processing decisions.
Our standard cut is designed around the way most families actually cook, with a practical balance of premium steaks, ground beef, 2–3 lb roasts, stew meat, fajita meat, and other useful cuts.
Packaged & Freezer Ready
Your Wagyu will be professionally:
Cut using our standard specifications
Wrapped and vacuum sealed
Frozen for long-term freezer storage
Divided into a balanced mixed eighth
How Much Beef Will I Bring Home?
From a steer with approximately a 900 lb hanging weight, an eighth will typically provide around 60–75 lbs of packaged, freezer-ready beef.
Final take-home weight varies with the individual animal, trimming, aging, and the cuts included in your share.
Freezer Space
Plan for approximately 3–4 cubic feet of empty, usable freezer space for an eighth Wagyu share.
This makes an eighth a great option for smaller households, couples, or anyone wanting to try our Fullblood Wagyu before committing to a larger freezer share.
